but power and greed among our own radical lobbies political leaders. Religion ain't our problem, the lack of it is. INSUFFICIENT RELIGION (of the Judeo-Christian variety and all its ethics/values that played such a part in making this country great to begin with). Our government has forgotten that God appointed leaders and leadership structures to bring justice and well-being to the people they lead.
I blame our own leadership more than anything and anyone else. It's OUR leadership that hasn't built a refinery in 20 years, OUR leadership that's muzzled nuclear energy, and OUR leadership that's refused to develop all the resources we have from the Gulf of Mexico to Alaska and all the coal and oil in between. So it's OUR leadership that's kept us going "hat in hand" to the Saudi's to "beg" them to do what we could now be doing for ourselves. Thank-you Mr. Bush! That was SO dignified. Your visit

Mickeynu's right! If Brazil could do it, why not us?!? We're not the 'lead dog' anymore 'cause we traded Rin Tin Tin in for Goofy!
Oh, and one more thing. If it IS our leaders that are primarily responsible for OUR policies and where WE are at this moment, then, that makes it OUR fault for voting these people in term after term. What are WE thinking and when will we summon enough gumption and awareness to rise up, hold these so-called leaders accountable, and THROW THE INCUMBENT BUMS OUT ?!?
