Their conservatism doesn't seem to cover ad copy. Here, SSTP is claiming revenue 1000 times what simple arithmatic proves from their own numbers.

I phoned a couple folks at Redwood coupla' hours ago to point out the same thing to them and suggested that it didn't do the credibility of the ad any good to have such an obvious error not only in the ad, but in a conspicuous area of the ad, hilighted in a sense as it appears alongside a picture of the refinery.

Their level of concern about this will probably be reflected by the speed with which they address or fail to address the correction.

My understanding is that it's an independent advertising firm, NOT Redwood, but authorized by SSTP to help promote the company.

Today's activity would indicate a modicum of success... interesting to see the effects long-term.

Modicum means "limited quantity of success" for those of you in Rio Linda (and Hungry)

Consortium Making 100 Percent Bio Gasoline Thru High-Yielding Process | April 17, 2008 | AHN

Baytown, TX (AHN) - A consortium of pro-green energy companies is producing car and jet fuel out of plant waste from its refinery in Texas using a new high-yielding biofuel making process.

A press statement from the U.S. Sustainable Energy Corp. (USSE) and Sustainable Power Corp. (SSTP), two members of the Baytown Green Energy Consortium, said Wednesday their process can extract five gallons of crude oil from raw materials equivalent to a bushel of soy beans. The consortium's refinery then converts the biofuel into 93 percent octane, 100 percent bio gasoline, bio-jet fuel, bio-diesel and other biofuel products.

"Our refining process produces zero waste byproducts and zero emissions," the press statement claimed.

The consortium has inked several multi-billion dollar deals with numerous countries, including the Dominican Republic and Malaysia.

The consortium's refinery in Chambers County was shown to the public in February. The refinery has four reactors that can produce from 6,700 to 24,000 gallons of petroleum product and 69 other non-hazardous materials with the waste turned into fertilizer.

The ad "must" be from SSTP because there's no disclosure or disclaimer included. If a third party pays for an ad, the relationship and compensation must be disclosed. This often done by huge holders.
