There are many that believe in this company who have been patiently waiting for it to get off the ground. After almost two years don't you think it is reasonable to expect some production? Until there is some income to report or even a tangible hope for income throught permits, contracts etc. where can it possibly go but down? Hope is good but facts are facts.

It seems as if the Baytown developments have slowed to a halt. We hear nothing from anyone on completion, production time frame, etc. just comments on permits.

The CA deal is great fluff, but no substance to make this baby take off.

The waiting is the hard part. When Ron was posting here at least we got the sense that things were moving forward. And perhaps they still are. We are just unaware of the progress and do not know what JR and team are facing in the way of obstacles. There are probably many 'forces' that do not want this to succeed. United prayer against these 'forces' could make a tangible difference. There are no insurmountable odds that the Lord cannot overcome when asked through fervent effectual righteous prayer. Man does not have the answers we need to overcome anything the world is currently facing.

It wasn't making you or I money. It was more like having faith in him and that was our job in life.He is gathering soldiers for his army, and faith is what will get you in, so to buy us with a pink stock is just about ludicrous even think about or ask for.What say you Parson?

It really hasn't even been two years!. A year and a half from the beginning of USSE that fateful October... only a little over a year since SSTP.

It's been less than a year (8-9 months) since Amspec came on board and began to identify what it was JR really had, and you can't really begin to nail down a business model until you have...

...a commodity to sell. And the whole Baytown refinery only began late last fall so...

So it really hasn't even been two years yet. Just seems like it. A LOT has happened in the last 10 months!

'Course, as Raven Dave mentioned on I-Ville... a lot HASN'T happened either and that's disappointing as well.

I suspect some of the selling last coupla' days has a lot to do with people simply running out of patience combined with the 'scary permit' campaign that Dyna's running.

Frankly, I think that's fairly meaningless at this point. The web-page on BGEC at the TGEC site only indicates permit status as of the time of the posting, which I think was a while back.

They don't update their website as often as they should, so they could have permits applied for, pending, or even granted, and it could still be some time before that's reflected on the website.

Everyone's made a mountain out of molehill on that issue.

...you 'n funmike have said some pretty interesting and challenging things here today. I need to mull 'em over a bit longer, but here's a few things off the top of my poor noggin.

The first of which is I don't use the military metaphor very much. While it is a valid and legitimate metaphor, it is used in very few contexts. The soldiers putting on "the armor of God" for instance.

But... the FAMILY of God is far more useful and used in the Bible much, much more often. God's not really putting an army together. He is, however, patiently waiting for the return of the "prodigals.' He is still seeking to be reconciled with the whole the human family, "...not willing that any should perish."

In the meantime, how spiritual or worldly one is, how selfless or selfish, how greedy or generous will have a LOT to do with how one "prays" for a pink-sheet stock (or any stock for that matter).

To pray purely for personal gain and well-being sounds a lot like James to me, "You do not have, because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures."

But if you prayed for the success of the company on the world's behalf, and to enable yourself to share with others and help the needy, then that would be an entirely different motive wouldn't it?

Then you'd have to do some soul searching... "Do I really mean that or am I posturing?" God already knows of course.

Personally, I'm not praying for any personal, financial benefit from JR's enterprise. The ONE thing I have prayed for... for everybody (including myself, JR, Fairway, Raging Bull Posters, Ron, EVERYBODY) is...

"...Father, uphold us in all the good we're doing or trying to do, and defeat us in that which is wrong."

(That's right and wrong as God counts it of course!)

I believe that's a prayer worthy of praying and one I'll never regret (though it may keep me on a tighter budget!). How God answers that prayer is up to Him of course.

He is one who blesses--causes the rain to fall--on the just AND the unjust, so there are times even the wicked receive gracious and unmerited good things from his hand.

"Come now, you who say, 'Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, and spend a year there and engage in business and make a profit.' Yet you do not know what your life will be like tomorrow. You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. Instead, you ought to say, 'If the Lord wills, we will live and also do this or that.' But as it is, you boast in your arrogance; all such boasting is evil.'
