As to "half truths", I have to admit you're close as I have specialized in telling the "other half" of the truth when faced with lies presented as the truth. I'm still waiting for you to tell the other half of your Keith Mazer "truth".

I'm confused.

Are you saying the company is in its infancy and has come a long way with a long way to go? You always said that was the basher position.

You were right (alright!) when you said that, but I think Ron was building on the same point I made just yesterday, that an inordinate amount of criticism of what's going on today (and I don't use the word inordinate lightly!) is viewed through the lens of "way back when" in a way that's not always fair.

It IS true (as you've pointed out many times) that past patterns/behaviors/mistakes and even past nefariousness (and nefariousness is not a word I use lightly! In fact, I don't think I've ever used the word nefariousness before... memo to Sparrow, "CEASE YOUR NEFARIOUSNESS"... but I digress)

Where was I... oh yes... it IS true that past behaviors can be reasonable indicators of the future and it's also true that habits (especially bad ones) are hard to break. But doesn't HAVE to mean that ALL the past will always repeat itself. Relevant yes, but not all-conquering.

You yourself have admitted legitimate, even amazing, progress in Baytown, and Baytown began just seven months ago!

JR has been surrounding himself with better people than ever, and is closer to successful technology than ever, and has more help than ever, more interest and exposure than ever, and is working harder than ever (if that's possible).

So I'm back to my default position... there is real reason for some skepticism and this enterprise is not a success story YET, and there are still lots of negatives, but there is also real reason for some real optimism. But people still need to be patient, it's going to take some more time...

To reference Ron's metaphor on childbirth, JR & Company are still in labor... PUSH JR... PUSH !!!

BTW... Green Power just posted a nice sentiment but it sounds a bit premature. All pain is in the past is what you say AFTER the baby's born and in the mother's arms... in JR's case, we're expecting triplets. What GreenPower says will be true the day JR is holding a real, signed contract, the reactors are running with a mountain of feedstock at the mouth of the new feeding system, and the financials are filed...

THEN AND ONLY THEN will all the pain be in the past and the future will be tomorrow!
