Yes, that Hybrid multi-media ad IS maddening !!!

Everytime a new page starts, it starts over and I have to shut my music down or the internet radio I'm listening to. Why don't you put a 'youtube' play arrow on top and simply let people press the arrow is they want to listen to it like other websites do?

I've actually watched the thing and it's very interesting and informative and I may take a closer look at the company, but I would have done that without the 20 autoplays looping over and over and over and over and over and over and well... you get the picture!

My ole' tomcat, Goldberg, was sitting beside the desk when I clicked on our favorite website here. The speaker volume was too high and when the Hybrid Technology promo came on, Big Goldberg hissed and swatted at the screen!

Funny, I was just thinking pure oil related business when I posted that article. But I'm concerned with several big investments in the US, with money we used to buy their oil. It's seems like Middle East Oil gainning influence and power over here and in other countries.

We have family friend that just sold off a big piece of real estate. The money came from the middle east, buyer had all cash, no financing. It was a $15 million transaction.

The day started out entertainingly enough over at the Village, but as the sun sunk lower and lower and lower, so did some of the dialogue. But things are rarely dull over there.

Nice place to visit but there's no place like home.

Although, to be honest, we may need to set aside a time for mourning and lament for all those poor souls in the Midwest dealing with record, record flooding. And how about those poor boy scouts hit by the tornado? Four dead and dozens injured, not to mention scared out of their wits for an entire evening.

And natural disasters aside, there's all kinds of scheming and nefarious plans being hatched in the corridors of power all over the world (including our own!), and millions everywhere will be deeply and profoundly affected in a significant way by abject poverty, hunger, disease, and war. This very day.

Perpetually sunny dispositions are a blessing but I (try to) remind myself continually of the anonymous poet who wrote:

Where the cloak of the sky is wide
Have seen a tree of terror

So consider this a "moment of silence" post on behalf of all those "going to the wall" today and during this past week.
