Could get very interesting this week if worldly travelers are in town. The entire world is looking for answers to the "highway" robbery happening right now from the Opec Nations.
Whether JR has the all inclusive answer or a mirror minor part, me thinks we are getting ready to EXPLODE.......................jmo |

Just another way of saying it is from biomass.........
Renewable energy From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Renewable energy Wind Turbine Biofuels Biomass Geothermal Hydro power Solar power Tidal power Wave power Wind power Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources—such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat—which are renewable (naturally replenished). Renewable energy technologies range from solar power, wind power, hydroelectricity/micro hydro, biomass and biofuels for transportation. |

Which Raises The Interesting Question...
Quote:
There are oil fields that, years ago, were said to have "just so much" oil, and then we'd be out--the well would run dry. Yet, some of those same fields are still producing as much now as the day the first barrel was rolled out. Some oil geologists surmise that the furnaces in the bowels of the earth continue their processing of carbon sludge/earth waste, flora, and fauna just as it's always done and the "new oil" will continue to flow through the same crevices it always has... But even if petroleum IS still being mfg. by the earth and many of the oil fields ARE being continually replenished (renewed!), lotsa' luck getting any in the modern media to admit, much less report on it!!! Natural processes deep within the earth are no less 'natural' or any less 'renewable' than what's going on up here on the surface. I think we CAN drill our way out of this mess, at least PARTIALLY, as we continue to develop our other sources right along side good ole' oil! Or would that be... just too darned much common sense?!? Petroleum/Vertroleum's New Marketing Pitch...
Since we haven't built a new petroleum refinery in the country in 30 years, wouldn't it be effective if Rivera's Process was the magic marketing bullet both SSTP and/or Big Oil could use to fast track the approval of new refineries all over the country?
For every new PETROLEUM refinery built, there must be a new VERTROLEUM refinery built right along side it! One new green refinery for every new oil black oil refinery. And, retroactively, the mandate to build one Vertroleum refinery for every petroleum refinery already in existence. That takes our country in the direction of a 50/50 split between petroleum and vertroleum over the next decade. By the time we open our own AMPLE areas for drilling and, at the same time, reduce our petroleum needs by augmenting our energy with green oil, we will be needing NO one and relying on NO one overseas for our energy need for oil importation. In the day of 4-5 dollar per gallon gasoline, a national commitment to work towards 50/50 black and green oil might silence most (if not all) environmental critics and leave the really liberal congressional opposition without a leg to stand on in fighting Big Oil tooth and nail at every turn... The development of renewable technologies of course, would continue... |

Well, the bounds of my ignorance knows no bounds so...
... this email post to Mr. Rivera and Jens; and, Jim Ford and Jack Smith of AmSpec may or may not be all that useful (or even welcome!).
Ahh, well... ...nothing ventured, nothing gained... >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Hi Mr. Rivera! I don't know at what point you may be speaking with Big Oil as far as synergies, partnerships, or buyouts are concerned, but at the rate SSTP seems to be developing, it doesn't sound like it will be long. If and when you decide to speak with some of the Big Oil Industry people, would the following be a useful suggestion? It is based upon the idea that Petroleum, all by itself, is not the answer, neither is Vertroleum, but what about the following? >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> > Since we haven't built a new petroleum refinery in the country in 30 years, wouldn't it be effective if Rivera's Process was the magic marketing bullet both SSTP and/or Big Oil could use to fast track the approval of new refineries all over the country? And, retroactively, the mandate to build one Vertroleum refinery for every petroleum refinery already in existence. That takes our country in the direction of a 50/50 split between petroleum and vertroleum over the next, say, two decades. By the time we open our own AMPLE areas for drilling and, at the same time, reduce our petroleum needs by augmenting our energy with green oil, we will be needing NO one and relying on NO one overseas for our energy need for oil importation. In the day of 4-5 dollar per gallon gasoline, a national commitment and plan to work towards a 50/50 split between black and green oil over the next 20-25 years might will silence most (if not all) environmental critics and leave the really liberal congressional opposition without a leg to stand on in fighting Big Oil tooth and nail at every turn... The development of other renewable technologies of course, would continue, but in the meantime, for the Petroleum and Vertroleum industry to "team up" against the current energy-driven economic threat, might be the most politically and doable solution of all. Congress, especially in an election year, could hardly stand against such an effective and sensible synergy. How can they continue to throw up road blocks to Big Oil, if Big Oil is willing to partner with Big Green. And Big Oil won't remain 'against' green oil when it becomes such a profitable revenue stream in its own right. Sincerely, "Parson Mac" |

Parsonmac....you have come up with good suggestions thus far, but I disagree with you on this one (The 50/50 deal). They have come to JR before and he turned them down for a reason.
It amazes me. I heard a sermon one time.... when people don't get their promise when they expect it ...especially it takes longer then expected........how they start making comprimises........... and settle for less....oh ye of little faith. Revenues will come in at an exponential rate....money will no longer be an issue(as it never was in JR's vision). This is about a cleaner future. As JR stated many times...his grandchildren breathing clean air. This is not about money (as with Petroleums' vision)....... JR STICK TO YOUR VISION. SSTP FORGING AHEAD!!! |
