Where did that come from, the way things are going the odds are more and more in our favour, Pemco and LeSole testing and testing and testing, bashers etc not influencing them at all. With all the guy's down in Baytown all this week and the progress on generation etc the odds are stacking up on our side. Smile a bit more me old Pal the world might be looking a bit out of kilter at the moment. But definitely not SSTP, it is a diamond having it's rough edges facited. Sustainable Power Corp. Enters Agreement for 300 Tons per Day Supply of Municipal Solid Waste
Thursday October 9, 12:33 pm ET BAYTOWN, TX--(MARKET WIRE)--Oct 9, 2008 -- Sustainable Power Corp. (Other OTC:SSTP.PK - News) announced today that it has entered into an agreement with Amecks, Inc., providing for a partnership to provide densitized and pellitized municipal solid waste (MSW) for utilization in its reactors to produce biofuels and gas, and to generate electricity. ADVERTISEMENT Amecks has facilities which can provide a minimum of 300 tons per day of MSW which is utilized in SSTP's reactors and which when completed will produce electrical power to connect to the grid. For taking this MSW, SSTP will be paid $35 per ton. As previously reported, SSTP's kWh produced from MSW outdistances the power produced by MSW incinerators by more than 10 times. Essentially SSTP produces electricity from our nation's garbage absent plastics, metals and other inert materials. "This agreement provides us a never-ending supply of product for our reactors," said M. Richard Cutler, President of SSTP. "Instead of paying for feedstocks to run our biofuels reactors, Sustainable Power now will be PAID to take the products we turn into biofuel and gas, and ultimately into electricity." Jerry Ketterer, President of Amecks, added, "We are excited that this partnership with Sustainable Power allows us to not only profit from the amazing technology I witnessed at Sustainable Power, but also helps to alleviate the nation's waste problems. By combining our technologies, we have a can't lose business with substantial benefits to our nation's communities." Amecks and Mr. Ketterer have been in business for more than 25 years, including work in the waste business starting in the 1980s. Mr. Ketterer has substantial business experience which he brings to the partnership with Sustainable Power.

Back from Baytown! Home safely and all is well. Tuesday's news says it better than anything I could say. Sure looks the direction of these companies is now in Power generation. Here is a link for the pictures I took. I sure could have done a better job at that. I have very few of the reactors, since we pretty much knew what they looked like. You better get used to this term. From reading some of the boards I think some people have a misconception of just what is MSW? So I asked several people, including the person that made and delivered the white pellets. I specifically asked, "is MSW what comes out of garbage trucks?" and they both said yes. Right now USSE/SSTP is testing MSW in pellet form. A whiteish pellet, and a dark grayish pellet. What is the difference between the light and dark pellets? The dark pellets contain everything that the white pellets contain, but, they also contain glass and pieces of metal. The glass and metal is sorted out of the white pellets. They have gotten outstanding results from the light pellets, but it only makes sense to at least try the dark pellets. They were running the mini-reactor Wednesday with dark pellets, but I left for the airport, so I do not know what the results were. Tuesday, I met up with Barretjett, he was spending most of today there, so he should know the results. Ok all here is what Spec got from Baytown during his trip. I did not make a new thread for it only because I want to keep the conversation here. 1.) Source of reactors material? At present time the reactors are made from off the shelf (standard) parts, and custom made chromemoly steel reactor tubes. A custom welding fabricator builds the tubes for SSTP. 2.) SSTP timeframe to get of the pinksheets? Actually, SSTP President and CEO Mr. Richard Cutler approached me about this question. He stated that there will be news about SSTP Financials in several weeks, then their will be an application, followed by a waiting period. I asked if the news about the Financials will be made public? He said "Yes, definitely" 3.) Any plans for SSTP to lobby congress for bio-fuels tax credits? There are already Tax Credits, Green Laws, and Green Fuels Laws that are available and we intend to utilize. 4.) When will we see substantial production and sales? From talking to Mr. Rivera, John stated that production will commence at full capacity, when the optimal feedstock is determined, and all production issues are settled. To do so before then would be unwise and a mistake. For example, the company just recently implemented $500,000 in engineering improvements. 5.) USSE PR's. What is USSE's role? Management has no plans for any changes to the USSE/SSTP relationship in the near future. Mr. Rivera does state that he has a plan for USSE. 6.) Current, active USSE/SSTP partners? I do not have a good response to this question other than recent Press Releases. We do know that Pemco was just recently in Baytown, L.Sole is their this week. If you are inquiring about Borneo, unofficially, I have heard that Borneo had a problem coming up with the funding, they are not an active partner at the moment, but are not entirely out of the picture yet. 7.) Shareholder Open House? In the future USSE/SSTP intends to have a shareholder open house, or guided tour and demo. However, these will be on a more limited basis, and probably by an invitation. 8.) Any future advertisement? We do not have any plans for large scale advertisement, as this will not serve the needs of the companies. 9.) ERCOT application approval? I personally, talked with Jim Armstrong from New York on this exact question. He is the person that is actually handling all the aspects of the application. He seems very knowledgeable and competent in this area. When I point blank asked him about the status of the application, he said "I do not want to get into that at this time" Earlier from Spec: [b]WHY PELLET FORM/B] Why have they decided on the pellet form of feedstock? Well there are probably Logistic reasons, but the real reason is because pellet form is the ideal form for the reactors. Several of the employees in the plant explained this to me. The Rivera Process is not a process of combustion, but it is a chemical reaction. To optimize results, they need a slow steady burning feedstock. Ideally, one that burns about the same at the end as at the beginning of the process. For example, if you slightly and loosely crumple up a piece of newspaper and run through the reactor, it will burn greatly at the start, but will be done burning before it reaches the end of the reactor. You will get poor results. Instead, tightly roll the paper into a round ball and compact tightly. The burn will be more slowly, but it will burn more the same from beginning to end of the reactor. The pellets are processed. Their process even removes a majority of the water content. Their final product is a pellet that is similar in shape to a about a 3 inch hot dog. The biocrude obtained from the reactor was used directly without processing into Diesel. The electric generator run almost an hour and a half and according to the guys who were documenting the results, all the numbers exceeded expectations. Jerry Ketterer mentioned a number to his associate 450 for regular diesel and the biocrude obtained from the white MSW was over 550. When we went back to the SSTP office Mr.Ketterer was very ecstatic about the the result of the Demonstration. Before Barrettjett and I left we saw the result of the of the gray MSW which was processed through the mini reactor. This seem not as exciting as the white MSW. I bade goodbye to JR, MR. Cutler, Jerry Ketterer, Scott Hoer huddled in the SSTP office. I met Spec before he went home about 10:00 A.M.
