This would at least generate some speculation that this company is trying to show that it is a viable business that can have a promising future. In my opinion we are never going to gain share valuation as long as we are on being traded on toilet paper (pink sheets). Example USSE has 2,000,000,000 shares divide that by 20 for a 1 for 20 reverse split = 100 million shares.

100 million shares @ .42 looks a hell of alot better than
2 billion shares @ .021
When you are 2 cents away from 0 it spells out
R I S K Y.
Can anyone tell me why this cannot be accomplished to build share wealth?
You are kidding, or have no idea what you are talking about.Today's revers split is a crime against shareholders.Shares will be greatly shorted, and in 2-3 weeks, we will have the same price but 10-20 times smaller number of shares.Have a look at (RMDM:OTO).

Are you crazy!!! They can always BUY SHARES BACK!! How many shares are restricted?? Pink Sheets are the bottom of the pub I do agree, but you can find good pink stocks if the CEO/company has a good product and is not here to screw the share holders by issueing shares for a fake dream they never intend to do anything with..

So they do a RS, to do what, get on the OTC, why would it matter!! There is more to doing a RS to get on the OTC..

OTC stocks are no better, just more work for the CEO to do audits..
The right way is not dilute. Us the money they are raising from investors through the market to better the product and make more revenue..

UHCR I know the CEO well, he's a great guy, is not diluting, is doing what he should do with the share holders money and his products, yadda yadda..

There is no minimum share price required to get on the BB. There is to get to a listing exchange such as AMEX, NASDAQ or the NYSE. What is required by the BB is SEC compliance.

A reverse split without concurrent filings is the kiss of death. Any share price achieved by a reverse without fundamental support will sink to near zero. This isn't directed at any particular stock, it's just the law of the pink jungle.

Runaway Train

My buddy talked to investor relations of SSTP and USSE, and he was told....Like the song goes, Run Away Train, Never Coming Back, better get on board now.
The day traders are not going to be able to hold this back, there is nothing stopping the momentum of this train, the weight behind it is so great, it will break free of any restraints!

...refresh my poor, addled memory? Six to twelve weeks ago (I have no sense of time anymore and would waste too much time searching) I asked what are some reasonable and GOOD options to deal with the massive number of shares and I think you and Sparrow (maybe robnjr) suggested a couple of different ways to handle this well. You know this stuff off the top of your head.

Would you mind reiterating the coupla' options that are available to a well-run company in retiring excessive amounts of shares that minimize or do no harm?

Thanks Mr. Choose

There are really only two "non nuclear" options: reverse split and share buyback. A reverse can work if it's managed properly but must be done by a healthy company with real earnings and fully compliant. It helps to reverse into excellent news that would normally boost the stock. Pink sheet companies with billions of shares out generally reverse with the announced purpose of creating a price that will allow listing. But the true purpose (almost always) is the elimination of shareholders.

These "elimination reverses" are always deep (1:1000 or even 1:more) but, ironically, almost never deep enough. They always compromise and wind up neither sheep nor fowl still with too many shares, falling like boulders and a bunch of outraged shareholders.

A share buyback is self explanatory and is done from company profits.
